Mr Fussy is the 21st book in the popular Mr Men series created by Roger Hargreaves in 1971. Hargreaves started writing ad drawing them after his sone asked him what a tickle looked like, leading to the first book, Mr Tickle. Since then, Hargreaves has illustrated and written a number of books putting into character format a number of actions and emotions. Mr Fussy is a smart, green shape, much like a short, fat sausage. He has very smart hair and an equally smart moustache, and is very particular about rearranging his furniture and plants so they are neat and straight, and even spends hours getting the bits out of the marmalade because he doesn't think it's ... The Mr Men books is a series of 46 books written by Roger Hargreaves and then later his son Adam Hargreaves. They are simple children's stories that tell the story of a different some-what stereotypical character in each one. In this way the short stories do have a somewhat moral stance to them but are in the same way told in a fun and entertaining way to keep children amused. Mr Fussy is number 21 in the Mr Men series and the front of the book looks pretty much like all the others in the series, white with a picture of the character in the centre and his name printed in block, black capitals above. Mr Fussy is number 21 in the Mr Men collection he is an oval shape and green in colour and he wears brown shoes and has a round yellow nose and a moustache. The cover of the book is white with a picture of Mr Fussy on the front and the title above in Black lettering. The back of the book has small pictures of all of the characters in this collection. THE STORY The book begins by giving us an introduction to Mr Fussy and tells us how he likes to have everything neat and tidy.
