The reverse of the book holds smaller pictures of all the other Mr Men characters in the series along with their names and numbers. This is a brilliant little feature in my opinion because it makes the task of keeping track of which books you have and haven't read so much easier. Mr Lazy lives in Sleepyland, which is a very lazy looking place. In Sleepyland everyone gets up in the afternoon and because the peop...more

Premium Review Mr. Lazy - Roger Hargreaves: Lazy Bones (588 words)

I have loved the Mr Men ever since my mum bought me my first book when I was about four. Since then I have collected all the Mr Men and Little Miss books as well as the teddies, T-shirts, posters and other merchandise. Luckily I am not alone in my love of the Mr Men characters as there are many more people like me that simply love the wonderful stories. Mr Lazy is a character in the Mr Men collection of books written first by Roger Hargreaves and the later by his son Adam. The collection contains 46 stories with Mr Lazy being number 17. Mr Lazy is a very lazy character and everything about his appearances tells us this. The picture of him on the ...  Read the complete review

When I was younger, I always used to take Mr Men and Little Miss books into school for the teacher to read to the class at the end of the day. I'd passed them on to my silbings however, and recently stumbled across them when I was holidaying. I decided to give some a read, and opened up book number 17, 'Mr Lazy'. Mr Lazy is a pinky coloured character with a tiny blue hat (why do most of the Mr Men have blue hats?!), and looks a little like a butterbean (or a backside!). In his story, Mr Lazy is woken up from his long sleep by two busy men, who set him to work. Mr Lazy works exceptionally hard, not having his usual nap in his slow and sleepy town. By the time ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mr. Lazy - Roger Hargreaves: How Lazy!!! (600 words)
by - written on 08/07/08 (Very useful, 92 readings)
Rating:

Mr Lazy is number 17 in the Mr Men collection. He is a funny shaped character and is pink in colour. I would describe his shape as a 'n' shape. He wears a little blue bowler hat. The cover of the book is white with a picture of Mr Lazy sleeping at the bottom and the title above this in black lettering. The back cover of the book is also white and has smaller pictures showing the other characters available in the collection. THE STORY At the start of the book we are told a bit about Mr Lazy, we learn that he lives in Sleepyland, which is a very lazy town. In Sleepyland even the birds fly slow, sometimes they fly so slow they fall from the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Get up, lazy bones! (247 words)
by - written on 08/10/08 (Very useful, 18 readings)
Rating:

Mr Lazy is the 17th book in the series of Mr Men books created by Roger Hargreaves. I love these books, and have done since I was a kid. My 4 year old son now enjoys them as much as I did when I was a kid. Mr Lazy is the laziest of the Mr Men. He is a pale pink/purple colour, and shaped like a bean (kidney or butter!) In the story, he does nothing but lie around all day, and if he does get up, he is so tired that he goes straight back down again. One day, he is visited by Mr Busy and Mr Bustle, who make him do things all day long, and show him that you musn't be lazy all the time. BY the end of the day, Mr Lazy is so tired that he falls asleep, but, for once, ...  Read the complete review

The Mr Men Collection is a great set of books for your children, they will enjoy the read and have fun with the pictures and funny stories. Mr Lazy is pink and wears a small blue hat, on the cover he is laying down sleeping with his hand on his stomach. Mr Lazy lives in Sleepyland where everything and everyone is lazy, the book begins with him waking up but goes back to sleep, finally he wakes up and has breakfast at tea time it takes so long like everything else in Sleepyland so he sat down on a chair and he falls asleep again until two other Mr Men wake him up, what will they do... This is the number 17 in the collection written by ...  Read the complete review
