I originally read Mr. Maybe on my bus ride to Tulsa Oklahoma. However, due to lack of sleep and the mayhem around me I was unable to concentrate on it too much. So after reading it for a second time last week I realized that this was a pretty good Chick-Lit book. Mr. Maybe is written by Jane Green, who has a previous book out called Jemima J (which I rather liked but not as much as this one). Mr. Maybe has 357 pages, so it is a decent length, and is published by Broadway Books. We pay 10p per book, and use the fund to buy a new release when we get enough money in our little pot, otherwise we just pass around books we buy ourselves. It is a great idea which more people should try. I have been introduced to some books I would not even have considered before. The focus of the book is Libby, a twenty something career girl, working as a publicist, and someone who judges her men on their material ...
