As with other Mr Men books the writing is on the left hand page and a picture on the right, the ... more  ... writing is fairly small but there are never that many words on each page, the repetition of words also makes it easier for a child as they get older to take an interest in reading.
The story starts off with us meeting Mr Funny, who sleeps in a boat shaped bed, lives in a teapot shaped house and drives a shoe shaped car, and loves to makes people laugh, and thought he was very good at making people laugh until he met Mr Grumpy! Toby has loved listening to the vast collection of Mr Men and Little Miss stories, so a few weeks ago when Comic Relief was on; we saw that there was a new promotion book called 'Mr Funny's Red Nose Day' We went in search of the book and found it for sale in Sainsbury's for £2.50, at least £2.00 of this will go to comic relief - adding to the millions of pounds raised to support children in Africa and UK. The book itself is exactly the same size as the other Mr Men and is a paper back book.
