Mr Messy is number 8 in the Mr Men collection. He is made up from messy scribbled lines which are pink in colour. The book has a white cover which has a picture of Mr Messy and the title above this in black letters. The back of the book has smaller pictures showing the other characters available in the collection. Now if you haven't gathered by now that the Mr Men and Little Miss books have played a big art in my childhood then you probably never will no matter how many reviews I write. Mr Messy is the 8th book in the Mr Men series, created by Roger Hargreaves in 1971. The first 7 were published in 1971, and this was the first to be published in 1972.
