Even though these books are 'Mr Men' and there is a 'Little Miss' collection of 33 books, they are equally enjoyable for girls and boys. The story follows Mr Perfect on his birthday! Mr Perfect is the 42nd of the popular Mr Men children's books created by Roger Hargreaves. The books were a favourite of mine when I was a child, and now my son loves them as well. The author started writing them in 1971 after his son asked him what a tickle looked like and he drew it, resulting in the first book in the series, Mr Tickle. If you have children up to about 8 years of age you definitely must take a look at these books, they are great fun for kids and are very simple to read so if you cannot read to them for whatever reason they could easily learn to read these books by themselves. Mr Perfect has a flawless appearance; he is a round shaped Mr Men with a bright blue colour. He has a red nose and has his hair brushed perfectly, not a single hair out of place.
