When I was younger, I always used to take Mr Men and Little Miss books into school for the teacher to read to the class at the end of the day. I'd passed them on to my silbings however, and recently stumbled across them when I was holidaying. I decided to give some a read, and opened up book number 5, 'Mr Sneeze'. Mr Sneeze is a very funny looking character. He's all blue, apart from his orange nose, with short skinny legs and long feet. His head is like a pointy star shape, and he has no mouth! In his story, Mr Sneeze walks to a sunny town where he realises the reason for his constant cold was because of all the snow in his own town. He meets a wizard who ... Read the complete review

Mr Sneeze is a funny shaped character in the Mr Men collection. I would describe his shape as being round with triangular spikes sticking out, supposedly being the shape of a sneeze. He has thin little legs and an orange nose. He is a blue colour. He is number 5 in the collection. The front cover of the book is white and shows a picture of Mr Sneeze and the title of the book in black lettering above. The back cover of the book has small pictures showing the other characters in the collection and their numbers. THE STORY The book begins by telling us that I is Coldland, which is somewhere near the North Pole, the weather there is freezing ... Read the complete review

My word, it's been eons since I saw one of these Mr Men books. A series of stories created by Roger Hargreaves, with the first being Mr Tickle in 1971. I was at a friend's house the other night and when it was the children's bedtime; my friend's three year old daughter asked would I read her a story. So we settled down and I read Mr. Sneeze to her. Poor Mr Sneeze is very cold all the time, he lives in Shivertown, which is the capital of Coldland, where the sun doesn't shine. He is quite appropriately blue in colour and constantly has a red nose through his persistent sneezing. Like all of the Mr Men characters he has a very distinct shape, Mr Sneeze ... Mr Sneeze is a character in the Mr Men collection of books written first by Roger Hargreaves and the later by his son Adam. The collection contains 46 stories with Mr Sneeze being number 5. Mr Sneeze is a rather funny shaped blue character. He has relatively long thin legs and a spiky body. He also has really wide eyes and a bright red nose, due to all the sneezing. This picture of Mr Sneeze can be found on the front of the book, which is itself square and white. Mr Sneeze's name is then printed in bold block capitals above his head. The reverse of the book holds smaller pictures of all the other Mr Men characters in the series along with their names and ... Read the complete review

The 5th Mr Men book in the popular series from Roger Heagreaves is Mr Sneeze. This is the first Mr Men to examine some sort of illness, following the previous four books of Mr Tickle, Mr Greedy, Mr Happy, and Mr Nosey. I remember this one vividly from my childhood, as my mum or dad would read it to me when I had a cold. Mr Sneeze lives in Shivertown, in Cold Land. He always has a cold, and is therefore always sneezing. One day, he realises the reason for his sneezing is because he lives in such a cold place, and he goes for a walk to find a warmer land. He encounters a wizard who ultimately helps him and the story ends happily, as we have come to expect of the ... Read the complete review
