Mr Topsy Turvy is a funny little character in the Mr Men collection. He is a round shape and orange in colour. He wears a light brown hat upside down and carries a walking stick the wrong way up. He is number 9 in the collection. The cover of the book is white and has a picture of him and the title above in black lettering which curves round at the end of the page. The back cover of the book like all the other books has small pictures showing the characters available in the whole collection. THE STORY The book begins by telling us a little about Mr Topsy Turvy, we learn that he is a funny little man and everything about him is either ... Read the complete review

When I was younger, I always used to take Mr Men and Little Miss books into school for the teacher to read to the class at the end of the day. I'd passed them on to my silbings however, and recently stumbled across them when I was holidaying. I decided to give some a read, and opened up book number 9, 'Mr Topsy Turvy'. Mr Topsy Turvy is an downside-up sort of fellow, with his upside down hat placed on his orange head, his cane the wrong way around. In this story, Mr Topsy Turvy comes to the town where we live (!) and caused a huge fuss, especially when he walked around with his socks on his hands! Even after he had left though, his manner had rubbed off and ... Read the complete review

Mr Topsy-Turvy is number 9 in the Mr Men series, which is a collection of 46 stories written first by Roger Hargreaves and then later by his son Adam. The book is square in shape and white in colour. On the front is a picture of Mr Topsy-Turvy himself and above this picture is his name written in block, black capitals. As my Topsy-Turvy is topsy-turvy his name curves around the corner of the book. Mr Topsy-Turvy is an orange character oblong in shape with a round sticky out nose. He also wears a bowler hat upside down and carries a cane back to front. On the back of the book you will find smaller pictures of all the characters within the series, ... Read the complete review

The 9th Mr Men book is possibly the funniest. Roger Hargreaves created the series of books in 1971, and most of the books have a moral to the story. This one is more of a fun look at a silly character, Mr Topsy-Turvy. The story made me laugh when I read it when I was a kid, and although it's kind of lost on my 4 year old son, he sees that there is something funny about it. Mr Topsy-Turvy is exactly as his name suggests - nearly everything is backwards or the wrong way round. He is a plump, orange character with an upside down hat. He holds his cane the wrong way round, and his front door and chimney pot are upside down. The same is the case inside his house. ... Read the complete review

The Mr Men and Little Miss collection is a really great collection of books for young children, they are all fun short stories, as they are so short you will be able to read one at bedtime in no time at all. I remember all the great times I had reading these books as a child and they were always my favourite bedtime stories. Mr Topsy-Turvy is an orange Mr men, he has a really big nose and on the cover of the book he is wearing his hat upside down and holding his stick by the end of it. The story starts off introducing us to Mr Topsy-Turvy, things in his house are always not normal but upside down, back to front or inside out, one day he decides to ... Read the complete review
