Advantages: Fun book

Disadvantages: Small writing

Mr Wrong is number 34 in the Mr men collection. He is a circular shape and red in colour. He wears one yellow and one blue glove and one black shoe and one brown shoe. He also has a plant pot with a daisy in it on his head.

The cover of the book is white with a picture of Mr Wrong on and the title above this in black letters. The back cover has small pictures of the other characters available in the collection.

THE STORY

The book begins by telling us about Mr Wrong, no matter what he did he always did it wrong and no matter how hard he tried it never went right.

The story starts with Mr Wrong waking up after a bad night due to the way he had made his bed the day before. He got up cleaned his teeth and went down stairs. Whilst he was doing these things he would fall over and spill things everywhere.

He made his breakfast but missed with the milk and it went everywhere and he wished that he didn't do everything wrong all of the time.

After his breakfast he went for a walk. On his walk he met lots of different people and he called them all the wrong names but they were all used to Mr Wrong. He then met someone who he had never seen before.

Who did he meet and would he ever be able to do something right?

MY OPINION

This is a lovely little book in the collection.

My boys love listening to the story and hearing about all of the silly wrong things he does.

The story is very easy to follow and is accompanied by very nice bright illustration which help to keep them involved in the book.

The book has been laid out the same way as the others in the collection with the writing on the left hand side of the book and the illustrations on the right hands side.

The writing is a bit on the small side which does discourage my eldest from wanting to help me read the story.

We have great fun looking at the pictures and trying to spot all of the wrong things in them.

The story can be read in about 5 minutes so is ideal for a bedtime story or if you are a bit short on time.
