It was his dream to make it as a professional and his passion for the game is clear through the writing. Keegan talk in great detail about the clubs he played for including Newcastle, Southampton, Hamburg, Liverpool and England. I've just finished reading a very interesting autobiography by Kevin Keegan, It covers all aspects of his career, starting at his playing career, and then going into his management career, this was one of the most inspiring books I've read, especially the story of Newcastle's re-emergence from the depths of division two to the dizzy heights of the premiership in successive seasons all masterminded by Keegan with the support of Freddie Fletcher, Douglas Hall, Freddie Shepherd and the money of Sir Hall.
