 ... is a little on the feeble side - however that doesn't seem to worry my daughters and it does set the scene for the rest of the book. There are about 20 pop out figures, all of whom have featured in the story - remarkably my book was intact - and they can all be stored in the Toy Box that is on the last page of the book as such. Maybe I am showing my age, but when I was little there weren't books like this - a book that folds open to make a fairy play scene with 4 fantastic scenes and little figures to play with, the whole thing being a 3-D and suitably glitter strewn bonanza that is bound to appeal to any little girl. I acquired this book for a bargain 20p at a School Fair, however I have gone on to buy another one in this series by Maggie Bateson and Louise Comfort from Amazon - yet to be played with and wrapped up for an imminent birthday.
