My five year old daughter recently had the opportunity to join an after school French club which she was very keen to do so we signed her up. She came home absolutely full of it and just wanted to learn more and more. So that we could help her we found this excellent First French Picture Dictionary from Collins. It says that it is suitable for three year olds upwards but I have to say that it is really ideal for slightly older children especially if they are getting an input of French elsewhere.
