Based on the principle that honesty is the best policy, I suppose it's only fair to state right up front that I like Bill Clinton. I know, Bill has his faults--faults that would fill a chasm as deep and wide as the Great Rift Valley. Still, for those who don't get tripped up by their own self-righteous rhetoric (and I've noticed that many of these have faults at least as great as Clinton's), it's easy to like the guy. He's charming in a well-educated, good-ole-boy, Southern kind of way. He's intelligent, even brilliant. He's selfish, but not so selfish that he can't find time to think about and help others.
