This book is one of my two year old son's favourites. It is heartwarming and makes a perfect bedtime read for settling him to sleep. The story is about a little fox, who is outside walking in the woods with his Daddy. The little fox starts to wonder how high the sky goes. Everytime he thinks of something that goes up high into the sky Daddy fox makes him think of something that goes even higher. In the end the little fox is taught that the sky is just like love and goes on forever and ever. My Little Star is a lovely paperback book which we purchased this week from our school book fair. The cover of the book is dark blue and has a picture of a Daddy fox with his child and a big round moon above them and stars all around. The title is to the right hand side in yellow lettering. The back cover of the book is again dark blue and has a picture of the small fox trying to reach up to the bright moon and stars. There is also a paragraph with details about the story.
