This book is supposed to revolutionise women's sex lives. Intended to free women from feeling guilt alongside having their fantasies, Nancy Friday has collated a large number of women's sexual fantasies and committed them to print. I'll try to keep this a palatable read, but inevitably the topic will have to be discussed in some detail, and I promise, promise, promise that I'll be as gentle with you as I can be. My first reaction when looking through the book was astonishment. My second was embarrassment, and finally a vague form of disgust. I fretted. Did this mean I was a prude? Did this mean that I was supressed or oppressed? ...

This is a book detailing many women's real sexual fantasies and is very interesting and informative. It was first published in 1975 and covers subjects such as, lesbianism, prostitution and domination to name but a few. My secret garden is a very liberating book which re-emphasises the point that it is only natural for women to have sexual fantasies and there's nothing shameful in it at all - men have them all the time, so why shouldn't we? Pass it on for your man to read, who knows, it may spice up your sex life too! That is, if you can put the book down in the first place - it's so good. ...

This is a book that should be on every bedside table, and should be read by every man who wants to knoww more about women, or any woman who isn't completely comfortable with her own sexual thoughts.
