Where's Noddy? - Enid Blyton
by MagdaDH - written on 02/03/07 (Very useful, 135 readings)
Rating:
Noddy has been with British children for many years now (he is an Enid Blyton creation) and is as much a part and parcel of pop-culture tradition as Mickey Mouse in the US or Mis Uszatek (Teddy the Flop-ear) in Poland. Rating:
As a huge Enid Blyton fan as a child, it was with great pleasure that I introduced my daughter to the wonders of Enid Blyton shortly before her 6th birthday. The first title I chose to share with her was The Adventures of the Wishing Chair. This is the first book of the Wishing Chair series. It starts with how Peter and Mollie came to own a magic wishing chair - a chair that flies! Every chapter after that is a delightful adventure that children will love. Along the way they meet Chinky, a pixie who comes to live with them and share the rest of their adventures. These books are interesting as well as easy enough for a child of around 6/7 to read themselves. It is full ...
