After the success of the story 'Funnybones', Allan Ahlberg went on to write a few more books about the skeletons and this is one of them. The story tells of the familiar skeletons who decide to go on a Mystery tour in their car. They see lots of things but it's so dark that they take a guess as to what is in the shadows before turning on a light. They end up having lots of fun at the fairground but come across a slight problem when they try to make their way home.
