good review his books get on review sites persuaded me that I was on safe ground with this book, that was my thinking anyway. About the author: Robert Goddard was born in Hampshire in 1954.Before he became a successful international writer he was an Educational Administrator in Devon. Background: I have read several novels written by Robert Goddard in the past few months. His books are usually exciting thrillers and of the ones I have read I have enjoyed his style and his storylines. So when I saw this one at my local jumble sale I was keen to purchase it at the fantastic price of just 20 pence. About the author: Robert Goddard was born in Hampshire in 1954. I discovered Robert Goddard when a friend who was moving house gave me some books that were destined for the charity shop. He writes mystery novels, which although they often involve a death, are not “crime” or “murder” stories predominantly. An example is a book I recently read called Beyond Recall.
