Naruto is a best selling Japanese manga that has been adapted into a anime and a very sucessful one at that. It is based around a young boy in the village of konoha who has a monster trapped inside of him called the nine tails fox, this monster was trapped inside Naruto as it was rampaging through the land.
The story continues as this young boy grows up and learns the way of the ninja while battling this beast inside of him and obtaining his true potential. Naruto leaves ninja school and is put into a three man cell squad which includes himself, a girl named Sakura who Naruto has a crush on and also narutos sworn rival Sasuke all three are lead by Kakashi a former ANBU member and a hero who fought in a war with the Fire Country.

The first 37 episodes run mainly along the Zabuza arc, where Naruto & co must escort a bridge builder to a nearby village however a notorious ninja renegade who slaughtered his own village in a frenzy has been hired to murder this very bridge builder so unevitably comes into contact with Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi.
A good start to a brilliant anime. 8/10

Summary: great anime worth watching
