I am not entirely sure why but this title seems to have made a huge impact on the western world in recent years. Every anime fan whom has emerged in the last three years or so has highly rated this manga but more specifically the anime series despite the fact to an anime veteran like myself it just seems like a typical shonnen jump anime (typical long running manga producer who makes long running boys manga such as dragon ball and yu gi oh). The story starts off with a huge fox demon threatening the lives of the leaf village, in an attempt to solve the problem the village leader seals the soul of the demon inside a baby boy who turns out to be the ... Just before I start - both naruto and bleach make great starting points for the world of anime. I have also reviewed bleach. Now onto naruto - The world of naruto is one of ninja and their adventures. Naruto as you may have guessed is a ninja, at the minute he's in training. He lives in the hidden leaf village called Konoha. He is ofcorse nt your ordinary human. He lives alone as he is an orphan and has a tendancy to act out and not pay attention at ninja school. Thats not to say he isnt gifted. When he was a baby a daemon know as the nine tailed fox was sealed within him after it tried to destroy everything. Throughout the series however you will see him gain ... Read the complete review

My siblings and I have always loved this series. We first heard of it when it was televised here in our country. We were very engaged in this adventurous story. We loved Naruto and would always be waiting for it on the TV everytime we get home. Eventually, we read the manga and just loved it all over again. It is the story of Uzumaki Naruto, a mischievous boy who aspires to be a ninja. He is a brave boy who unfortunately, always attracts trouble, or does trouble attract him? We may never know for sure, haha. Anyway, Naruto meets friends along his adventure, his team mates, Sasuke and Sakura, who will be his lifelong friends, his teacher, Hatake Kakashi, and ... Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto is one of my favourite manga series. The story centres around Naruto a young ninja living in the village of Konoha. Twelve years ago the fourth hokage sacrificed himself to seal the spirit of the nine tails fox within Naruto. At the start of the story Naruto is unaware of the fox within him. The other villagers shun him because of the fox which so nearly destroyed the village in the past. Due to this he pulls pranks to get people to notice him and to prevent loneliness overwhelming him. In this first book Naruto fails the ninja academy's final exam and is then tricked into stealing a scroll by Mizuki. Mizuki ... Read the complete review
