Naruto Vol. 4 - Masashi Kishimoto

As in previous reviews I reccomend starting with volume one of the story. In this volume we see the characters come face to face with what it really means to be a ninja. When Naruto watches his team mate sasuke die trying to save him from Hakus bloodline limit technique we see for the first time the epic power contained within him, the chakra of the nine tailed demon fox. When the seal holding the nine tails within him becomes weakend by the emotional distress of seeing Sasuke killed, chakra begins to escape and naruto takes his one tail form. This is a great way to introduce to us the power that naruto holds within him and also throws the reader on an rollercoaster ...

Naruto Volume 2 by Masashi Kishimoto is the continuation of the ninja manga series. The story begins when Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura pass Kakashi s test by learning to work as a team. Once they start receiving missions Naruto quickly tires of the D rank ones such as locating missing cats. He demands that the Hokage give them a better mission and so team 7 are given their first C rank mission. They have to escort the bridge builder Tazuna to the land of waves. Tazuna is a fairly grumpy old man and is very skeptical of Naruto s abilities as a ninja. This of course infuriates Naruto as his biggest desire is for others to respect him and results in him desiring to kill ...
