The Necroscope series is a horror based collection of books by the English author Brian Lumley who's other publications include the Psychomech trilogy and a large array of Cthulhu style books. The books centre on a character by the name of Harry Keogh who has the amazing ability to communicate with the dead. This talent grants him access to untold secrets from beyond the grave as it is said in the books that what a person does in life they continue to do in death. So a paint would continue to paint, an inventor would come up with new ideas and invention and a mathmetication would be able to continue perfecting formulas they had been working on in life. Necroscope, what does this name/title/word mean to you? absolutely nothing? thought so... it meant the very same to me while i was serving with the HM Forces in Germany. I found i had a lot of time on my hands so i took a trip to the Camp library, and what a discovery, the cover of the first book in the series, Necroscope, filled my mind with images of horror and intrigue, of monsters and other fairytale creatures, so i got it out, and boy am i glad. I then discovered that there were more books and this was the first in a series.... i couldnt believe my luck, and still cant.
