Isn`t it great when an Author reads your Review of his last work, and he takes all your critcisms on-board and truly works to be a better writer for the next? It`d be nice to believe that`s what happened with David Zindell's Neverness.. The fact that the book was written years before my review of the other, somewhat shatters that dream, but ahh well on with this review.. Actually before we get to the review proper I`d just like to point out that There's nothing more irritating to me than reading a good book all the way through, then realising that it's the last in a series.
