This is a review of "The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", (Souvenir Press, October 2000), which is a revised edition of the more well-known (guess the title now, yes you got it) Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. This book takes a very psychological approach to drawing instruction, or perhaps “brain surgeon” approach would be a better description. Because the authors belief is that with the left side of the brain we do all the boring stuff (train to be an accountant, fill in our IR Self Assessment forms etc), but with the right hand side we make love not war, and generally emulate Salvador Dali in his dripping clock phase. ...  Read the complete review
