A brilliant analysis of Stalin and his purges None

Well-written, scholarly and interesting you have to buy it, I suppose because I'm hanging onto my copy

Informative, funny, engaging Quite brief in places

Incredibly touching The ending grates a little, but it's truth, so who can complain?

Thorough, fascinating and an enjoyable read None for me
