After reading Stephenie Meyer's first novel, Twilight, I couldn't wait to read this sequel. And I wasn't dissapointed. The Blurb For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella could ever have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just beginning . . . Passionate, riveting and deeply moving, New Moon, the compelling sequel to Twilight, irresistibly combines romance and suspense with a ... Read the complete review

(update: I accidentally pasted my Twilight book review in this New Moon section. Apologies to everyone!!! Just corrected my mistake!) In comparison to the intensity and profound aspect of the first book in the Twilight Saga, I would say that New Moon is quite dull and flat. I did not particularly enjoy reading this book, mainly because of the too fast pace and lack of emotions in the wordings. However, even when read without comparison to Twilight, New Moon can stand as quite an average novel on its own. The cadence of this book can be considered as somewhat heavy or gloomy, but I think that this might have to do with the fact that the various situations ... Read the complete review

New Moon is the second book in the bestselling Twilight saga written by Stephenie Meyer. The book continues where Twilight left off - for those who haven't read Twilight , there are a couple of spoiler coming up as I do a quickl recap of the story - you may want to skip the next two paragraphs . In Twilight, Bella Swann moved to the rainy town of Forks to live with her dad Charlie, while her mum and her new husband traveled in the hopes of furthering his sporting career . In Forks, she made some new friends, including Quileute indian Jacob Black, and all-american boy Mike Newton . However, Bella only has eyes for the mysterious Edward Cullen, and ... New Moon is the second book in the bestselling Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. The book follows on from the first book Twilight, there is no specific time gap mentioned between the first and second books, but it seems as though the next school year has started because we learn that two of the characters from Twilight has left the town of Forks to supposedly go to college. The book opens on Bella's 18th birthday, her relationship with Edward is starting to worry her, because she loves him more than life itself, but today she is now older than him and this frightens her. Bella & Edward's relationship is still as intense as it was ... Read the complete review

Stephanie Meyers book New Moon, the second in the Twilight Series is one of those books that I literally fell over myself to read. As a latecomer to the Teenage Vampire-Romance series I've been bitten! My addicitive personality has one desire to be fed and and I dived in head-first to the sequel looking for a hit. If you haven't seen the film or read the first book then I strongly suggest you do both before you decide to investigate New Moon. I don't want to spoil the plot but I will be talking about events that follow on. ~Outline of the story so far~ After many ups and downs and will-they won't-they moments in the first story our ...
