New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
New Moon is the sequel to Twilight and is just as successful. The story follows Isabella, "Bella" and her life with her father in rainy Forks. Her boyfriend, Edward Cullen, is everything to her but with one problem. He's a vampire. But that wouldn't stop them trying to stay together.
Stephenie Meyer graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in English. She now lives with her husband and three young sons in Phoenix, Arizona. New Moon was first published in 2006 and since then it has become as popular as Twilight.
Having her life constantly saved by her own guardian angel Bella thinks that her perfect dream will never end. With stunningly handsome Edward as her boyfriend Bella thought nothing could ruin her perfect life. But at her birthday party, at Edwards's house, Bella gives herself a paper cut and Jasper, Edward brother, loses control. Bella forgives him but Edwards mind is made up and the Cullen's leave Forks and swear to never return.
Bella is heartbroken and not herself. But through all the misery she forms a close friendship with Jacob Black. But when Jacob starts acting strangely and refuses to speak with Bella, she is hurt and determined to find the truth.
But with Edwards's life at stake, will her new friendship with Jacob stop her going after Edward?
New moon is about the hurt love can cause and how Bella chooses to deal with all the pain, but also how to forgive. This book made me feel Bella pain as though it was my own.
I happily read all 563 pages of this book and didn't stop till I was done. It is an amazing sequel and just as good as the first. I would recommend this book to anyone because I enjoyed it so much.
