Advantages: The character of Jacob

Disadvantages: Bella can be a bit too much sometimes

Wow, so Twilight was good, but New Moon was a million times better. I never thought I would be the type to read vampire books, Twlight was my first, but Stephanie Meyer is an amazing writer and really seems to tap into the characters. After reading Twilight i was completely hooked on Edward and Bella, and had to dive into New Moon immediately. This book focuses more on Bella's relationship with family friend Jacob, and how their friendship develops with consequences for Edward. The character of Edward does not feature so much in this book, but it doesn't take away from the story, and by the end I found myself beginning to prefer Jacob actually. It really is a page turner, and now I've finished I'm straight onto the next book in the series, Eclipse. The only downside to this book, if there is one, would be that Bella sometimes get's a bit annoying, but really, I can't fault it. What would you do if you were in love with a vampire and your best friend hated him because of his own "secret" reasons! Can't wait for the film!
