Shadow's Edge is the second book in the Night Angel trilogy, and it lives up to all my expectations after reading the first one. The story focuses on Kylars desicion to walk away from being wetboy, and the various power struggles within the various nations/factions. The story is gripping, and the plot spirals out of control from the very start. We begin with Kylar best friend, and his mentor both dead and him having walked away from the life of a wetboy to try and live with the woman he loves. Shadow's Edge by Brent Weeks is the sequel to The Way Of Shadows, and is the second book in the Night Angel Trilogy. I have reviewed The Way of Shadows already and awarded it five stars, and if you've read that review you'll know the book received my highest praise for being easy going, yet immersive, gritty and compelling. Clearly this review is going to give a few things away if you've either never read the first book or are in the middle of reading it, but the information revealed here will be as minor as possible, and thus spoiler free.
