Advantages: Terrifying

Disadvantages: Short Stories

Generally I dislike short stories. The Stand and IT are my two favorite Stephen King books, and both of those could be used as a door stopper quite well.

When I brought this book I didn't realize that it was a short story collection, so when I got home and opened it I was really, really disappointed. When I realized I couldn't find my receipt I thought I may as well read it.

I was so glad I did. This is with out a single doubt the best short story collection I have ever read.

All the stories are good, ranging from scary to terrifying but the best is the title story 'Night Shift' which tells the story of a special detail at a factory. It gave me terrible nightmares!

Even if like me you don't normally like short stories read this, the stories are amazingly well developed, characters great and it is terrifying!

Summary: I don't usually like them, but these short stories are great!
