The Hollow - Nora Roberts
by jenmck - written on 12/11/08 (Useful, 15 readings)
Rating:
in each novel. I will admit that i am a longtime fan of Nora roberts and there are very few of her books which i haven t owned/read. I love her characterisations, each character is well drawn and human! What i love about this trilogy so far is the addition of a horror theme. She has touched on a similar theme in a previous trilogy (the circle) and i am pleased she has continued on this path since it combines my too favourite genres (horror and romance) into one book. This is an excellent read, which can be standalone but i would recommend reading the 1st book Blood Brothers as well. Can t wait to read the next one- the pagan ...

three female lovers continue their fight against the demon who seems to be getting stronger with each seven year appearance. I found that, as often happens with Nora Roberts trilogies, this middle book features a more gentle, beta hero and the romance element lacks the oomph that her first and third books generally offer. That being said, it is still a good read and moves the story along so that I m anxiously awaiting the third book, The Pagan Stone, which brings the story to its conclusion. Although The Hollow could be read as a stand-alone, I would strongly recommend reading the first of the series as the tension and horror is definitely building with successive ...

"Blood Brother" is not set during World War 2 like "Blue Remembered Hills." In "Blood Brother" the children's culture was playing games like sweet, toys and ...
