This review is for Night world written by L.J. Smith.

This is the first book out of three in this series and i would say that there for anyone who loves all things mythical and magical.

I will give you a brief description of the books and what there about and then i will go into more detail about this book.

The night world is a secret society of vampires, witches, shapeshifters and all other mythical legends.
The people of the night world have two rules and two rules only that if they are broken the punishment is death to all those involved.
Those two rules are never reveal to a human anything about the night world, and never fall in love with a human.

So now you get a rough idea of what the books are about let me review the first one.

The first book contains three seperate stories- Secret vampire, Daughters of darkness and Enchantress.

*Secret vampire: Poppy is a young teenage girl who has been told that she has only a few weeks left to live, shocked and terrified she turns to her best friend, James (who she is secretly in love with), and he risks everything he's ever been taught by his family to tell her a secret that could save her life, if she wants it.
The only thing is, is she willing to give up everything she loves for this secret?

*Daughters of darkness: Three sisters are on the run from their brother, who is determined to get them to go back home at any cost.
On their journey they meet Mary-Lynette, who becomes their friend, However she is unaware that her new friends are not quite what they seem.
To make things worse people are starting to get killed and Mary-Lynette has to find out who is behind the murders.

*Enchantress: Two cousins start at a new school, after being expelled from the last one and with good reason.
These two are irresistabe to the male students infact they seem to be bewitching, but is that down to their natural good looks or is there a little bit of magic to them?

I loved this book as i am a big fan of all things magical and dark like vampires and witches.

I must admit that it's probably not everybody's cup of tea, depending on what genre your in to.
