Nights in Rodanthe is a novel by Nicholas Sparks (author of The Notebook and A Walk to Remember). Like some of the other Nicholas Sparks novels it has recently been turned into a film. The story is set in North Carolina, in the same way as all other Nicholas Sparks novels. It follows Adrienne Willis, a divorced mother who is going to look after a friends B&B while her children stay with their dad. Paul Flanner is a surgeon and a divorced father who has come to Rodanthe to settle an issue with a patients husband. He ends up staying in the B&B being catered for by Adrienne.
