Nimitz Class is written by Sunday Times bestselling author Patrick Robinson who has written a number of military thrillers. I had previously read HMS Unseen which was also written by Robinson, Nimitz Class is the prequel to that book. When an Aircraft Carrier containing 6000 American troops is obliterated by a nuclear explosion, the senior military tell the public that this was a terrible accident. This book is by Patrick Robinson. It has been described as being 'The greatest novel of submarine warfare since THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER'. So i said to myself read most of it but not the end then write. The main plot is about a United States Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier. Its cost is a mere $4 billion and has over 6,000 crew. However it dissaperars in what looks like a nuclear accident. Now think about it a 1,100 feet long warship thats ... Read the complete review
