Extremely moving plot Sentence structure can be somewhat complicated

Some decent ideas, intelligently presented. Patchy, seems rushed at points, uncomfortable.

Historical details, clever method of narration Poorly developed, can be patronising

Lots of sisterly love and emotions Styling and structure could have used some polishing off

Chewy moral dilemma, great characters, good pace, fab read! Silly coincidence of 2 ex lovers meeting up in the book's court case

Daringly different, fascinating, well written characters Some may find the book confusing, others may be put off by the sci-fi element
