This another Richard Laymon classic book and is 375 action packed pages. The book follows two sets of people whose paths will eventualy merge at the end of the story. Rick is trying to fight his fear of the great outdoors and agrees to go on a hiking trip in the great outdoors to Fern lake with his newish girlfriend Bert who loves the outdoor life. Gillian is a strange woman who spends her spare time breaking into peoples homes who are on vacation and sleeps in their beds and eats food from their kitchen.
