A fantastic book from an amazing author Not much

Amazing characters and sex Too many snobbish views on furniture

Funny, surreal Confusing, poor plot

Good historical detail Too long, villains a bit pantomime, didn't always feel believable

More interesting elements, its still gripping towards the middle and end sections A bit too saccharine in places, overly romantic, Bella too much of a martyr at times!
