Fifth installment of Odd Thomas series, Further insight into Odd and his talent

Odd Apocalypse is the 5th Odd Thomas books to date, I recommend reading by the chronicle order to understand various characters mentions that was/is prevalent in the other books. Odd Thomas was the first book written followed by Forever Odd, Brother Odd and Odd Hours.

I recommend to download on Apps "Odd Interlude" numbers 1, 2 and 3. It doesn't really matter if you don't, but my feelings are you'll miss that subtle understanding of Odd character and to know him better.

There is a graphic comic strip relating to the books, I have them and they revolve around the written books - "In Odd we trust", "Odd is on our side" and "House of Odd".

In the first four books Odd Thomas character develops as he battles demons in various forms, his sensitivity envelopes you to sympathise with him and feel for him when he loses the love of his life. I wasn't sure about the fourth book, I felt there wasn't enough information or allowance for a new character to develope. In this book you get to know this character a bit better and see the kind of relationship she has with Odd. Old souls brought together - through chance or destiny? I won't say as it spoils the plot, as per Dean's style of writing there are chilling moments, and tender ones too.
