The Oh My Goddess series has proved incredibly successful in Japan but tragically, it fails to raise an eyebrow to its overseas counterparts. Hence, the actual comics are quite difficult to get a hold of without using the internet or mail ordering. The plot is about a young boy called Keiichi (Or K-1 when directly translated from Japanese) who accidently phones a Goddess whilst trying to ring in for a pizza delivery service. You can currently get Oh My Goddess in a number of translated graphic novels and for the more recent stories it is serialised as part of Animerica Extra each month. The manga by Kosuke Fujishima follows the life of Morisato Keiichi and the three goddessess he lives with. Essentially it is a romance between the character of Keiichi and the goddess Belldandy, but the other two goddessess often provide comic relief. The story begins when 'dateless' Keiichi dials a wrong number whilst trying to order take away food. He gets the Relief Goddess Office and Belldandy appears to grant Keiichi his wish.
