As a massive fan of Catherine Alliot I'm working my way through all of her books and so far have not been disappointed and Olivia's Luck is no exception. Olivia thinks she has it all, a loving husband, beautiful daughter and a dream house, until out of the blue her husband, Johnny, announces he is leaving and with no explanation is out the front door. Olivia is heartbroken and does not know how she is going to be able to cope without her dream man. I was given this book as a gift from my huband and since I normally only read quite serious books I was suspicious of this book but open to give it a try. From the begining of the book I was hooked and found it easy reading and humourous. Olivia was an excellent character and I soon found myself crying with her and laughing with her and sympathising with her. The book is about a woman who is 30 something living a routine life with her husband and daughter, but she soon finds her life turned upside down when her husband announces he is leaving.
