Jacqueline Susann is probably most famous for her 1962 novel, "The Valley Of The Dolls", and I would imagine that many of her fans would consider it to be her best work.....but, for me her literary shining light has to be "Once Is Not Enough" - plus....I would go so far as to say it is one of the greatest books anybody has ever written. I also say here that it is the only book of hers that I do actually like and love. "Once Is Not Enough" was published both in the USA and the UK in 1973, just a few weeks before Jacqueline's Susann's untimely death from breast cancer at age 37, and it was race against the clock for ...
