Nothing happens, no one comes by ...so he says, anyway. - But the pictures tell a very different story! There are the Three Bears and Goldilocks; The Three Little Pigs building their houses; Little Red Riding Hood and a Big Bad Wolf; a witch flying about on a broomstick; Humpty Dumpty climbing up on to a wall; a giant stamping about the countryside; a cat and a fiddle and a cow jumping over the moon. All around the little boy exciting things are happening - but at the end of the day, the little boy yawns and tells his father, "Nothing much happened round here today"!
