This is the first Falco book that I have read. It took me a while to get into it as it is a curious mixture of ancient Rome with modern day attitude and expressions of language. The story was good and there was a little bit of a twist to the ending. There is already another excellent opinion that covers the story, but in case you haven’t read it I will give you an idea of the story line. The story stands on it’s own, but is in fact the third in the 'Partners' trilogy.
