I loved this book with its easy recipes and easy charts to guide me through weaning. Its all to be taken with a pinch of salt (not literally!), but its the ultimate in safe and healthy weaning! We're only up to week 6 but my little boy has loved all the recipes so far. (With the exception of cod spinach and brown rice, and I thoroughly agreed with him). I didnt want to use the crap in jars. I wanted my baby to enjoy real food & this book helped me to! - Advantages: informative, helpful - Disadvantages: not for junk food junkies!

Nutty Nutritionist? This woman’s writing is enough to turn you into a nervous wreck! As if parenthood is not demanding enough here comes an author who makes you feel guilty for giving your child mashed potato to eat. Even the recommendation on the front cover starts those pangs of self-blame: “If you want a super-healthy baby you have to read this book”.
