It isn't very often I review books not because I don't read but because I am very fussy about the books I read. I have a very low concentration span so therefore when I do read a novel it has to grab my attention straight away and I have to care about the characters and the environment that the characters live in. Out Stealing Horses is a book written by a Norwegian writer, Per Petterson who has won many prizes for literature including one of the most coveted prizes - the International IMPAC Dublin Literary award.
