Outsmart ! :Jim Champy really outsmarted others I am a great fan of reading business and strategy books and always look out for the same. I got hold of this book few weeks before. This is a very succinct yet fast moving book which depicts lessons learned by companies that have pulled off sustained growth in business and related stories. I was really amazed by the analytical drive of Jim as he digs deep into the success story and has formulated eight strategic avenues to achieve a distinguishing market positions. I am interested in marketing, sales, and promotions, and just starting out so I am a blank canvas, although I learnt nothing from this book. It is easy to read but this means it's also rather too simple in its layout and format and looks rather cheap and amateurish. The garish colour of the cover also says little for its professional image. I also felt that the pages in block capitals did not look good; they did not project a very businesslike image. In terms of its content, I was intrigued by the references to Darwin although unlike his theories, this never evolved.
