Over the Edge - Jonathan Kellerman

Description: Author: Jonathan Kellerman / Genre: Crime / Thriller / An Alex Delaware thriller.

If you have read my eariler reviews, you will know that I am a fan of Jonathan Kellerman and the Alex Delaware series. Delaware is a psychologist who also consults with the LAPD. The books also feature his best friend and sidekick, Milo Sturgis. Milo is an LAPD detective, who is often discriminated against for being gay. He is tough talking and plays by his own rules, which often gets him into trouble with the department.

This book introduces us to Jamey Cadmus. Jamey was found clutching a bloody knife at the scene of a horrific double murder. He is also prime suspect in a series of killings across LA. Everyone from the media, police, his solicitor, his family and friends all believe that Jamey is guilty. At least until Dr Delaware begins to probe slightly deeper.

This is a really good novel from Kellerman. It kept me gripped from start to finish, and had several twists and turns that will keep the reader hooked. As always, the relationship between Milo (hot headed and rough and ready) and Delaware (reasonable and altruistic) works well and provides amusement to the reader along the way.

I won't tell you what happens, but it certainly isn't easy to predict and the book draws to a shocking conclusion, if you enjoy thrillers then this is definitely one to look out for

This is one of the best in this series that I have read so far and I certainly recommend that you give it a shot, especially if you are a fan of the series. Once you have read it, pass it on and let someone else enjoy it too!

Summary: Well worth reading
