I would like to recommend a beautiful children's book which I have at home called "Owen and The Mountain". Published in 1991 this story book is still available to purchase from Amazon and will cost £5.99. It is written by Malachy Doyle and Giles Greenfield, and it was on publication shortlisted for the Children's Book Award. The book explores the relationship between a small boy and his Grandad, and particularly highlights that the age gap is not important when it comes to sharing an experience together, which was in itself a challenge for both of them.
