Fish and Chips is a stage 2 early reading book from the Oxford Reading Tree series. It's written by the popular children's author Julia Donaldson, who is best know for having written The Gruffalo. The book is a songbirds book which focuses on the phonics sounds 'ch' 'wh' sh' and 'th'. The RRP is £2.99, and you can get a copy from Amazon or sometimes in special discounted packs from places like the Book People. The first thing I noticed about this book compared to the others we own in this series is that it's a bit bigger in height and width (but not length).
