A New Dog is a stage 2 storybook from the Oxford Reading Tree. This stage is aimed at children between four and six years of age, and this particular book is likely to go down well even with very young new readers of four years old. Some of the stage 2 books get a bit tricky in places, but this one remains simple and straightforwards throughout.
